We don’t need to escape into a virtual world.

Our cities, with their districts and streets, may not be ideal; they may even seem boring or depressing at times.

But this is not a valid reason to abandon them in favour of virtual reality.

Technology and social media can provide us with a shortcut to finding new and exciting things, but these are just an illusion.

The real challenge is to look anew at what already surrounds us and see its potential.

We can’t change everything around us, but we can change the way we look at things. And if we change our viewpoint, our reality can change.

A different perspective can make a street look more interesting. Something ordinary can become extraordinary. A problem in life can become a unique opportunity.

It’s time to take a second look at what is already around us.
